More toys! (Some assembly required.)

I never understood the attraction of model-building.
I preferred my toys to be put together beforehand.
Since I was a boy, I got models as gifts, and I'd open the box, spend about an hour trying to put the kit together, then the box full of the half-assembled model would rattle around in my closet for a decade.
That being said, apparently there was money to be made from selling model kits because they kept advertising them in comic books.
